Programming in Python:

WHAT: Comprehensive course in Basic Programming using Python

This course teaches the fundamentals of Python programming to give you the skills to build simple Python programs to solve and automate your daily workflow. Some of the skills you will learn include:

• Python basics
• Controlling the flow of your program
• Creating functions
• Using lists
• Using dictionaries and creating data structures
• Manipulating strings
• Finding and matching patterns
• Reading and writing files
• AND more!

WHO: Anyone aged 14 or older (kids, adults, adults who wanna be kids)
WHY: Build your understanding of computers, technology, programming
RESOURCES NEEDED:
* A laptop with the ability to connect to the Internet and
* The book “Automate the Boring Stuff With Python” avail. @ Amazon OR No Starch Press
COST: $240 per session ($30 to hold your place, the remainder due on the first day of class).
